After some discussions with doGGy, I have decided that I can't afford to have my Celi totally customised by him. But, I didn't give up on my idea and changed assumptions which made the project feasible.
So it started a week ago. Plan is to:
1) Have all bumps and scratches fixed.
2) Put on a body kit of: Erebuni front, Cougar sides (need customisation for Celi) and OEM rears.
3) Have a GT4 grille installed (hoping for turbo kit project next year >
> ).
4) Paint the body with beautiful Le Mans Sunset colour.
5) Paint the interior plastics with silver mica colour.
First steps you can see on the pictures (for now just thumbs from my club's website, I will stick in good quality ones next week) - to be updated weekly for next 2-3 weeks.
Then we have a "Toyota Motor Sport" meeting (Celicas, MR2s, Supras) so I will also show how my Celi looks having all the regular ones in the background >

Wow, that front grill looks pretty good on the stock front. One of the better attempts I have seen. Great job and keep us posted.

Well, I didn't write that I am doing that myself - I definitely lack competence and time to spend on that. I have a pro doing that for me for reasonable cost. Mine are: idea, design, completion of parts, colour choice and money I will pay.

I do not know if you will find the same make in US but I go with brand Dupli-Colour (the same company manufactures MOTIP automotive paints for interior, brake calipers, lights etc.):
- first, two layers of sealer for plastics,
- second, three layers of decorative silver metallic (it has a kind of mica effect - small shiny pieces in it),
- third, six (!) layers of glossy clear coat (gives nice depth to the colour and secures the surface).

OK, no astonishing difference in the state of my Celica but anyway.

Most probably I will change the plans for colour. I was said that Lamborghini's "Orange Mic 2CT" (Lambo code 954165) is excellent pearl. Anyone seen / could provide pictures of (any) car in this colour?

What do you think? If I pick this colour, should I go also with black hood / roof / trunk lid? I know that I should go at least with CF hood but it's beyond my reach (simply no cash left) - you guys are so lucky that you can get them for like 300-400$.

Look at the total package of that car. Rims + Decals + Spoiler + window tint etc etc. Then yes a black hood will look good.
But if you look at SoundSlut_DotCom's car in total Orange, thats very nice as well.
A black or carbon hood will only look good on a white/black/blue celi IMHO!

We are both right - in US it is 240sx if powered with 2.4 l engine, 180sx if 1.8 l; in Europe - 200zx no matter what one has under the hood. This one is from Netherlands so it's 200sx. >

The project is late. I was at the bodyshop today and there is no way they will finish my Celi for the weekend. I will have to drive to Toyota Sport with Peugot!!! That is embarassing!!!
They made some progress but I did not take pictures as I was too depressed to do it.

I am back from Toyota Sport meeting - it was excellent. Even though my Celi was not ready I had great time doing time trials with my friends yellow GT. Poor results, though.
Here are few pictures from the bodyshop, taken on friday evening. Celi is supposed to be ready on Thursday. Just can't wait.

Yeah, Lambo orange is still my choice. But not the one you have - Orange Mica (#954165) is my choice, bit darker pearl.
