hey, i have the 90-93 honda accord 2pc no name coldairintake made to fit my car and was wondering if there will be any difference in sound if was to get another filter. rite now it makes an aggressive rev but isn't enough from what i was expecting...
probably would sound different with a better filter. Go for a k&n. I think it sounds awesome.
I have a K@N on my CAI and it hisses like none other. Sounds great with my exhaust system!

I believe that it would sound different with another style, but not enough to make someone think you will stomp them off the road.. Like.. its not going to add 20HP by putting an HKS filter instead of a K@N....

o ic, i guesss i'll go out and buy a k&n filter then unless anyone else have any suggestions?
yeah, just go out and buy one and put it on and then you can come back with a big ol' smile across your face and tell us all how you like it.

I think I payed 70 for mine, found it on froogle. It was a great deal concidering that it was an "xstream," which normally go for about 100 or more.
$0. came with my bros intake from his old car which he gave to me at no cost. i had to cut the piping of the intake to make it fit right, but a free K&N short ram intake. nice brother >wink.gif>

EDIT: sorry, didnt answer your question in full. i think the filter cost him around $55
