Thanx everybody
4 grand at 80.. need 6th gear bad.. but since my car is a convertible the wind noise always masks the engine noise at that speed.
yeah, 80 has me around 4k...pretty high...but you can't win them all...I feel the gearing hurts this car a lot.
Dunno...I hit 4100 going 90...and I drive 90mph down the interstate about everyday.
Guys
In Australia we have lazer speed checks on the freeways
I noticed that at 100klm/h (62Mph) on the clock the lazer check reads 97klm/h (60Mph).
At 110Klm (68Mph) the Lazer check reads 105 (65Mph)...
I have 16inch alloys on so I figured if anything the speed might slightly over read, but it looks like the other way around.
(The tyres are low profile, but nothing extreme.)
At 100klm/h (62Mph) the revs on an Australian import read approx 3200, so 4000+ revs at 90 (130Klm/h) sounds about right for manual.
