Any surfers out there? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #27531 9 posts Started by ScoobyDooCruiser
Are there any other surfers out there? I know DamDirtyApes is, but I was wondering if there are any others?

I just got my first board yesterday (9'6" for $100)!!!!! (I'd been borrowing from friends till now.) After work, I'm going home and going to work on repairing all the dings and stuff. Should be totally awesome.

If anyone surfs from So Cal, I'd love to meet up with them. I'll be back down for school in a couple of weeks.

I'll post pics in a the next few days. I'll be going out to the coast on wed so maybe some action shots!

Nine and a half footer, that's a work out.

I go out a few times a week. I ride a 6'6" Merrick, though I'm going to make the switch to epoxy soon.

Where are ya in NorCal and SoCal?
I have an old school 6'6" Merrick that I got used for $80.

YoungSurvival.Org-Celica traded for.. 350z.. traded for Mazda5.. soccer mom!

In Nor Cal I'm about 2 hours north of sacramento in a town called Paradise (right above chico). Totally landlocked.

In Southern Cali I'm in Ventura.

well since i live about as far away from the ocean as you can here in good ole colorado, never have surfed anything but fresh powder >biggrin.gif>

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Eh we got that here too, except without the brain damage caused by lifelong asphyxiation. >tongue.gif> Case in point: Pete Coors.
