=/ was just about to get my provisionals off in december but now my 18 months start over again. can someone inform me of the point system for speeding in md. also, is it true that after you turn 18, you can already drive after 12 even if you dont have your provisionals off. ty.

btw, i was speeding to get to my girl for our 1 year anniversary. =/

ok, so i read up on the maryland state laws and it says first moving violation w/ provisionals = improvement class, 2nd = up to 30 days suspension, 3rd = up to 180 days suspension.

i got my 1st 1 in a minor fender bender that didnt even need to be reported, but my dad said he wanted to be reported because he didnt understand. i took a class

i got my 2nd by speeding = 30 days suspended.

now, 4 months from getting my provisionals off, i get my 3rd. will i definately get suspended?, without a doubt.

how do i go about trying to lower the amount of days. i go to court, admit guilt, but ask to lower the days? someone plz help me

damn man I'd love to help but I have no idea what the hell provisionals or anything are. In Kansas it's nice and easy for the rednecks outside of the city I live in lol, after 3 tickets within a year you lose your license. Otherwise, just pay it. Little more options with paying it but there's no point system or anything like that.

I dont imagine that days would get lowered. Anyone Ive known that got licsense taken away didnt get any reduction in days. Maybe you should slow down while u at it, dont need more 6th gens getting hurt >>

well it says suspension for up to 180 days. so if i dont try and go to court or anything im guessing there jsut gonna give me 180 days..6 months?!

so i'm assuming provisionals isn't a permit cause that would mean you'd ahve to drive with an adult.....in MD haha were did you get caught? if its on I95 good luck those state troopers love pulling people over on there it like a game for them...........BUT
TELL US WHAT PROVISIONALS ARE...

what was your ticket? how fast what speeding zone ect..
and there is no set chart for punishment you get what the judge says you get...............
