well, this morning Im going to radioshack to open the store, and my friend who owns a jewelry shop right around the corner shows up in his brand new car. So I get out of my car and he gets out of his, and says "hey i got an offer for ya, if you celica can beat my car I will give you 1 of my cars" he also offer to race for only 2 blocks, but would give me a 10 car headstart. It sounded extremly tempting. But I turned it down. Theres no way my car could beat any of his :-( Well, heres some pics of his new car. Sorry for the poor quality, my cell phone only takes 1.3 megapixel pics. Oh, and no guys its not a DB9.

he said if I lost I'd only have to pay his gas for 5 days, I thought about it and then did the math, V12 + High Octane gas = bad. He said he has gas DELIVERED to his house, so im assuming its not your standard 93 octane. I figure he goes thru about $100-150 to fill up his tank. Oh ya, and one of his other cars is a Porsche 911 Twin Turbo. I'll take pics of it next time he brings it by.

You should either a) get a swap done and make sure to win, or b) borrow a swapped Celi and ask him if he still wants to hold up that deal.

I have no idea if you can win, even with a GT-Four or anything, but unless something bad happens when (if >>) you loose.. Why not try?

if i had a GT-4 i would feel much more comfortable, but not in a swap. But hey, if any1 wants to import there GT-4 over here so i can race him, give me a call. lol

lol, except if I hit his car, the repairs on his car would cost more than my entire car. And the other 2 cars he has is a twin turbo porsche and a very nice 97 Viper GTR, its red with 2 white racing stripes and an aluminum spoiler. Looks so freakin sweet, I've only seen it once (he said its not his "daily driver"). I'll see if maybe he can send me some pics of that one as well.

Whats the distance of 2 blocks? 10 car head start, I'm thinking a gt-4 would have beaten his ass.

probably, but then again I dont have a GT-4. But also knowing him his car is not stock, even tho stock its fast as hell. He ALWAYS has to do something to his car.

oooooh aston martin, thats a sexy car man, not to fond of the paddle shifter though.....
