I get so many people asking whats up w/ my hood, they say things like "what is that fabric looking material on your hood? did it come stock or is that an after market thing?" etc...etc...

But when I tell them its carbon fiber their reply is always "hmm i've never heard of it!" Kinda like Ron Burgundy's reply to Veronica Corningstone when she says "When in rome!..." (if u havent seen anchorman just ignore that last part)

Anyway - do any of you other CF fans get comments from people wondering what the heck it is? Or do old men just want an excuse to talk to me? LOL

i get it all the time "why is your hood black" then they get closer and say "wow thats wierd" i had a guy go up to my car and touch the hood. i asked him what the hell he was doing "it looked textured" so i say "so you have to touch it? get the hell off" some punk who thought every one elses stuff is his. bastard.

i get....is that snake skin, uhhhhh yeaaaaa you bet it is!!!

I had a cop knock on my hood and ask a few question like what was the weight difference etc it got me out of a ticket >>

my friend has a cf sentra.. the whole car.. people are like what kinda paint is that? was it hard to get checkers

what is the weight diff between a cf hood and an oem hood...ive never weighed either of my hoods

Doesn't the cf one *fiberglass* weight like 15-19 pounds and the oem like 50 ish?

my stock hood weighs 30lbs
