For the guys that have lambo doors or are getting them, anybody figure out how to get them to open higher? The play is there, they will open straight up. Its just the shortness of the piston thats the problem. Remember how extreme doors had their conversion kit that was coming out? Year and a half later no kit. Just empty promises and alot of people wanting their money back that paid ahead of time. After the problems of getting my money back from them, I refuse to deal with them in any shape or form, but would like to get a kit that opens the doors more.
More or less every kit out there is a copy of the original decahs. They all look the same and work by the same principals.

let me add,

keep in mind that you dont have to cut and reconnect any wires when installing a lambo door kit.

all you have to do is remove your door panel and there is approx. 8-10 inches of wire slack for you to play with.

also,

extreme doors DO NOt make there kits on site. they purchase the kit form a fried of mine. notice that if you order the kit sometimes it is shipped out of buffalo ny rather than their shop location and, the packaging and door kit does not say anything about extreme doors. notice GT factory, vertical doors have stamps on there products.

im not saying dont buy from extreme doors, im just saying that you can contact get the same kit for a cheaper price. keep in mind that when you buy from extreme doors and something goes wrong all you have to do is give them a call. the warrenty that they give is from them not my buddy.

if you want more info. about this door kit just ask, the reason im not giving my buddy's contact is because i didnt dicuss this with him yet.

to be honest there is no such thing at the moment. the only kit out there that goes all the way up id GT Factory.

keep in moind that when you have the doors go straight up in the air, how can you close them when your in the car??

I'm a big fan of the gt factory kit, and if I could do it over, that would be the way to go.

Now extreme doors was/is marketing a conversion kit for their latches. They used it on the 300zx on their webpage. It sells for about 100 bucks. Last i heard they were having some problems. Thats what I'm after. That kit. I'll fix its problems. I just want to see a pic of it.

i'll see what i can do about pics, here is the thing, my buddy makes lambo kits for competitive applications. he dabbled on pumps with longer arms but it didnt clear the upper most part of the fender when the hinge goes up.

i'll talk to he asap and i'll give you an update.
