I got my new issue of car and driver today in the mail, and it has official pics of the new civic si and other models. First things first, nice exterior styling on all the cars. the windshield on the coupes has a massive rake, at 21.9 degrees... Looks cool. Performance wise, 197 hp at 7800, 139 lb at 6200- good for 0-60 in approx 7.3 seconds (the car comes in at 2900 lbs)... The "interesting" part is the interior... All I have to say is digital spedometer... the main guage face is a large oval shaped tach, with warning lights to both the left and right, all housed in a squarish shape. Above that, in a narrow and long protruding curve, is a digital spedometer, and what looks to be a digital fuel display, and c/d says also an upshift warning light... If your thinking S2000 style, its not nearly as pleasing... I have yet to see it in person, but from the pictures, I say odd, slightly ugly, and above all to me, tacky... My interest in the car has diminished somewhat...

I love their new interior, but not the exterior, specially the sedan.. the rear is fugly.

yeah the interior is nice. I dont like the body of it at all.
Buy my Celica $2,500 -http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=76562&st=0
Gauge thing looks like the S2000's. Exterior reminds me of the new Accord Coupes...
I like the interior.. The front looks like my moms old pontiac minivan, just smaller. It looks kinda cool, ut i wouldnt buy it. and 197 hp is def nice, but the 2900lbs, is def to much for a smaller car. And yes looks like the new accords which i really dont like, just got way to chunky.
I was thinking Chevy Cobalt....
i dont like the digital spedo.... ive always hated that
*looks at headlines* whats its gas milage?
I'd have to see it in person. But 197 hp for 2900lbs is better than the scion tc.
hmm interior looks nice, deff a lot of changes from the crappier version where the Stick was like in da middle where the cupholder was supposed to go. I dunno, civics are pretty hard to turn with. The head is like so heavy when turning sharply.
Hey... they changed the intake manifold...
I think the rear is ugly... but it will smoke the crap out of the scion tC... and Civics aren't hard to turn with. You're just making "anti-honda" guesses... since in the autoX scene... Civics and Integras are top of their classes. This car shares basically the same chassis as the RSX... and the RSX is a dominant car in the FWD race scene... It's a little beefy... but it'll outhandle 6gc celicas...

those tails really need to go along with the spoiler
i agree, it looks to chubby, damn thats a heavy civic too
whats with all the tape on the back of it?
the 1/4 doesnt have patience for a ST.... so we make them ST-T's so atleast we'll sound good going slow.
they are trying to "disguise" what the car is- most likely final "testing" (aka marketing) of the product in an area where potential cusomers gather- aka street race hangout, but honda said its cool to "reval" what it is about 7 days before official release >

I think that exterior looks one hundred percent utter crap. I wouldn't drive one if they asked me, or payed me money..
I'm sure it's a really nice car, but it just looks sooo bad, in _my_ eyes that is.
the motor..is that the K20?? looks almost exactly like it

Looks ugly to me, and cramped. Especially that engine bay. And at 2900lbs I dunno about handling, but its pretty excessive, so its probably got a lot of extra "features" all over the car that lead me to wonder about how well balanced it is. It would be a fun car to cruise in though, thats for sure. Just gotta kill that spoiler
yeah thats what iam saying....looks like its would be hard to put aftermarket parts on it, looks cramped.
I'am Reinventing the SLow Lane.....
