the engine bay looks incredable man! whatd you use to clean it? and what method did you use to paint everything? looks sweet!

i used a whole bunch of simple green ... rinse and repeat man.. put it on there.. wash it off and repeat.. the only way to go..... the painting was universal 209(i think?) spraypant... and a heck of alotta coats... with drying time between .. looks good and glossy >>

wish i could afford for somethin to come out of a gun.. then id get the car re-painted with the wing on... and maybe a kit ::crosses fingers::.... anyways thanx... that engine bay looked horrible before and took a whole day for me to clean...

man, that is a clean engine bay. Wish I could do that.... on the dirt road. I need to get a WRX and go ralley!

I'd imagine you'd have to take the exhause manifold off...but yeah, did you leave the head on? I so wanna do that now.

yea nice work dude, be carefull make sure you stay away from RICE

otherwise keep up with good and "clean" work




yea head is not really hard to take off....

took it off lot of times....



(you should also see my gaskets getting shot on 2 ports,

hehehehheh NOS baby.....)

yeah.. we had to take the valve cover off to paint... took alot of cleanin prior to paint just to make sure it stuck....header heat shield had to come off too.... dont wanna get any paint in places it aint spose to go ... lol... thx for the comments guys >>

my dad is drivin it before i get my liscense ... and he said they rode too rough ... so he took em off a day after puttin em on... but no worries .. im puttin em back on in mid may ... its all gravey
