SPOTTED RHD GT Celica in Oregon - 6G Celicas Forums

So cruzing around doing the whole work thing, and I see a celica parked at this house across the street at the complex I work at. Same color as mine I figured bone stock celica sittin on some 15"s, so sittin watchin being bored and the owner of the car comes out a late 20's young lady and walks out to her car to the "passenger" side seemed a little odd and then I see the car start up, pondering, so I drive over there pull up and was hey I noticed we have the same car, she rolled down her window and no S*** RHD celica, we talked for a few mintues, she had lived in Canada and bought the car up there as is, and when moved down here just brought it with her and its all legal and good to go, I asked if she was interested in selling, and I got a big NO, damm shame really, told her about the site but she didnt seem to interested, but she might pop up. Next time she comes ill score some pics.

Um... It being a RHD GT, odds are it was a 3sge motor. That's IMPRESSIVE enough to me. But still maybe not.

Could also be the 3S-FE with about the same specs as your 5S-FE engine.. I remember seing a GT in my town and I was all like woohoo! Until I found out it was a 3S-FE with about 130~ bhp.

yea, theres alot of RHD cars comin around here now. Mostly Nissans, a few toyotas and a few mazda's. I gotta drive a turboed 90 miata that was auto and RHD. It was sick, but weird and auto >frown.gif> I wanna import a toyota Seca over here. They r soooo hot.

Almost sounds like Canada is a good lace to be to import a RHD car and still make it legal??
