decited to go cutom with my tails...i used a portfolio for the cutouts and black spray paint.....heres a pic with no paint until they are done. will post full pics tonight

boo-urns. I dunno, there arent to many good lookin coustom tails out there. Personaly i only like the clear JDM ones, and the afterburners.

haha i appreciate all the positive feedback,but im very proud of my work. the only thing im not happy about is that i only did 3 coats, so when i put on the blinker, the big circle isn't the only thing lighting up a little bit of yellow is as well. i sent the pics to lewfx to put on here of the 'finished' set,they will be on ASAP

Or use a computer drawing program to create the stencil; that's how I added the Toyota emblem. My 90 GT didn't get the emblem, and since I shaved the Toyota and GT badges...

That's the great thing about these cars, they can all be different.
Each to their own.
In the Uk it is mainly rally or stock.
MIne is slightly different to them all.
And when it is running 400bhp it will be damn quick too >>

yo dmor, lemme work with you here, ill design you a sick design for your tails, none of this bull circle stuff or flames. it will look good, but i need a good shot of the tails while ON the car.

the tail lights are differant rouge but not ugly. DMORST95 if i where you and you want custom tails, I would fill in the licence plate area and have Supra Tails molded in, I had the work (not parts) priced at $550. of course I would never attempt it on your own, unless you have training in it. get it done professionaly.

I searched around on the Internet until I found a large enough, sharp enough version of the Toyota symbol that I could manipulate in Powerpoint. Used the drawing tools to give me hard lines to follow when cutting with a razor.

Actually, the image I pulled down is from Toyota's official handbook on using Toyota symbols, emblems and trademarks.

Yes, it's the centre brake light (what other were you thinking it might be, Jaws?) on a 90 GT. No spoiler, and the Celica in silver is still on the centre section of the tail-light plastics. Thus you see the T symbol first, then the name of the car...at least at night.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
