Why dont you people look past the damn name and see that he's just another one of the people of this country who spoke about the things that nobody else wants to talk about how this country right now is so screwed up its prioritites backwards and mixed up how a country led by someone who cares not about the people of this country (unless they are rich white folks) and not about avoiding disasters but being a "good ol' boy" and was vacationing and even after the hurricane struck was playing golf in CA. Who pulled out an excellent FEMA leader who was appointed by Clinton and inserted someone with no emergency experience whatsoever, cuts FEMA funding, refuses to give LA prevention help for something they saw as a danger years ago.

We wanted to impeach Clinton for lying about getting ass in the oval office but we dont dare speak of kicking Bush out even after the death of thousands of Americans here and over seas in disasters forseen and warned about to watch him and his lack of an administration screw up time and time again. What happened to the activists which we so dearly need here today? This nation does nothing but turn its back on those which who are really in dire need of help and point fingers instead of sitting and thinking "oh its hard being president." Of course its hard, but if you cant do the job you better not be holding the office and Bush has clearly NOT done his job.

Enough of the bickering just see how awful this Bush-led government is treating the nation, look how big of a mess this country is in.

no the US didnt cause the hurricane but guess what. the goverment was neglegent in every aspect of dealing with this

1)it took 5 days for president bush to respond and send any kind of help down there. funny that hes "great" at "saving" other countries but he cant even help his own

2)the president of FEMA was not qualified at all to do his job..guess who appointed him?

3)did u know that 10 years ago there was reaseach on the levy's of New orleans and the research showed that the levy's could only withstand a cat 3 hurricane?

did you know that there was a plan and a budget in affect to rebuild the levys and strengthen them

DID YOU KNOW that in the plan after a hurricane hit new orleans that there were supposed to be medical vessels and food vessels waiting on sea to be able to go in ASAP?

do you know where that plan went? it dissapeared magically when bush came into office.

Did you know that there was another study that showed that new orleans was gonna get hit? might not have been 2 years ago, might not have been 1 year but guess what it happned

so bush had information but ignored it and concentrated on issues THAT DID NOT NEED TO BE DEALED WITH ASAP(IE Iraq)

4)BUSH ORDERED TROOPS TO SHOOT. what kind of prez is this? the freakin people are tryin to survive. sh!t i would steal food to, ITS HUMAN INTSTINCT(sp?)

and LEWfx of course its hard but if ur elected that should mean ur capable of dealing with this stuff. its not like hes the first prez of the US.




In summary the US(bush) KNEW this was gonna happen and ignored it, and they were not prepared. THATS why its the govts fault

I dont know all about this political crap and everything, what I do know is what they show locally is different from what they show yall. I live in Baton Rouge, 50 miles from new orleans and the local news down here shows the good things that are happening, seems like when I see CNN or anything that shows the rest of the world what is going on its all bad stuff. There is so many good things going into helping these people. We own two houses and the one we are not living in currently has 3 families from New Orleans living in it for free. We are paying the 1200 dollar a month note for them. I have also gone down and helped out at the shelters. So many people are doing good things. Its sad that the news focuses mostly on the bad.

my local news is not showing the bad stuff and i watch dateline and they are showing the good and bad!!!

Oh and i think i heard something about today in a meeting the war was first talked about then came the hurricane issue..hmmmm...kinda messed up! both equally important but i think the hurricane should come first

oh i don't know. who cares. I'm just not going to talk anymore.

and as much as I am more republican then democrat I agree that Bush is not doing his job well. But I also dont know enough information to form any type of valid debate on the issue. I don't think us arguing about it is going to solve anything. The only thing we can do is help in any way we can.

You go from bashing kanye and other rapper's to shutting your mouth? Bottom line is this, you are right everyone should try to help but the biggest help for those people was the government which took their sweet ass time. And the information is right their on every tv station and expression of now homeless people who resided there.

Back to your comments prior about rappers requiring to be shot. You just contridicted yourself when you spoke about not having enough information to form a valid debate, you know JACK **** about rappers therefore your comments are pointless. Myself being a DJ for quite along time now deal with rappers everyday. From spinning with them on stage, to dropping some striving rappers demo out to an audience. They all had to start somewhere, some might of been drug dealers some might of just had stars in their eyes, but none the less they decided to do something with their lives and express it through music. Not everyone lives in a so called protective community (which Im guessing you have). I lived in NY for 23 years hung out in the best and the worst of NY watched friends get shot who didnt deserve it, and watched friends shoot people who didnt deserve it, and i've also been shot at, life is rough not everyone lives in a good area. Truth is people adapt to their environment just like animals. Some have no choice but to live there and some do anything to get out.

Stop stereotyping people, it's completely idiotic and immature.

Ok, please don’t insult me, you don’t know where I grew up and you don’t know enough about me to make your assumptions. This is exactly the reason why I said I wasn’t going to talk anymore because it is inevitable that someone is going to be rude. I know enough to know that people with little or no talent are making more money then people who are out there saving lives. I know people who have had to struggle to get where they are today and that’s just gigging in the City wherever they can, I have met so many talented people who can’t make it as anything big but people wrapping about thongs make millions. I love music, it is a large part of my life and I respect a lot of people for what they do but I have little or no respect for the majority of rappers who rap about nonsense.

just need to say this..... the majority of rapper you see on tv are saying nothing ...but the majority of rappers are not rich ... are not talking about nothing ... work normal jobs during the week... a ever selcet few make it big and they make it big cause young white kids buy their cd's and go to their concerts ...i could give you the names ot 20 rappers that are better then 50cent eminem ect but no one on this site has ever heard of.... tina i have nothing but love for you .. but what you said about kanye earlier showed you know nothing about the man...yea he had a big mouth and an even bigger head ... but you have to know what he has gone throgh and how he has done to help to understand his comments and reasons for saying them..

He is actually one of the more socially conscious mainstream rappers out there. His methods may be questionable, but for the most part he is trying to make light of the plight of the people in the most dire straits, which is commendable. You don't see Master P or Ja Rule out there trying to create social change.

At least Kanye doesn't rap like "spinnin rims/candy paint/dippin wood/hos on the block/girl get naked/let me see that ass shake", thank goodness. We got enough of that already.

ok, maybe i shouldnt of said never, but its not as blatant/prevalent as other rappers. Listen to a Master P or a G-Unit album and compare it to Kanye's.
