Ive seen quite a bit of people from texas on here, and if not that, i know a few texas celica owners myself... We should rally up a lil meetin in texas.

where in texas are you from??

I'm from Midland,I have a cousin near San Antonio >smile.gif>

PROBLEM--
I'm boosting my engine and it is taken apart.
My cousin is swapping a 3S

If it's in 2-3 weeks I'll be up for something...
If anyone is missing NASCAR and it's not on Speed Channel, take a fistful of Skittles, throw them in the toilet and hit the flush handle. Instant NASCAR!!!

yea i live in austin...and my car is undergoin some construction as well.

What all are you doing to it?
If anyone is missing NASCAR and it's not on Speed Channel, take a fistful of Skittles, throw them in the toilet and hit the flush handle. Instant NASCAR!!!

um well at the time i had to fix my current problems, i was getting a new radiator, and new headgaskets with all new belts and some other stuff im not sure about... now im just going to mess around with the inside and get it to where i want it...

WERD - Home of Houston Toyota Club - 100+ members and growing. We used to meet every week but that was only practicle for the first year. We also had a Texas Toyota meet last april in Austin (around 250 cars!!!!)

Yeah - occasionally (MSP?). We are in the process of reorganizing the club and starting a GO/SHOW/AUDIO Team.
The club just got to big and drama ruled in the end. >rolleyes.gif> It will be much better and hopefully drama proof this time.

dude, if you're going to have a meet...you need to do a 6gc meet...not a bring your toyota million car meet!

i understand celicaGT96, i'm in th rio grande valley (south) and i only know of one other 6g that's somewhat paid due attention to.

but if the texas folks want to gather sometime that i'm not in school, i would definitely be up to making the drive up north! it would be nice to get to meet some of my fellow 6gc-ers.

lol, or cuz you live in central... but yea, we have a few guys from the south, and few guys from the north...i think we could get atleast 8-9 people to do this...

how about we all go to SPI on spring break?lol, im from Laredo....and I bought the only other 6th gen that was here.....now I see a bit more, but they are not enthusiasts....

exactly, we have people wanting to meet from the south and the north, only logical place is to meet in the center (esp. since Texas is HUGE laugh.gif ). . . whether or not i live central.

man, im pretty sure we are up to atleast 10 people...this could turn out decent. I like the whole South Padre island idea, i dont know if that should be our meet, but ill probably be down there anyways, so maybe we'll see each other.

dude, that would be frikin' awesome if you guys showed up to SPI! i live about 30 mins away from there. so i am definitely planning on being there this spring break!

I'm going to San Antonio some time in January to pick up an engine, And in april I'm going again and would like to do it again.

but where ever is cool as long as it's within about 300 miles-I'll be up for a road trip as long as my car is running
