I know I really would like to go. The truth is that I dont want to get lost. Its a long distance from Philly so i guess i would get my friend to ride along with me. Is any one going to meet up somewhere and drive together?

Its not that bad of a ride from philly. About an hour and change.

I'm sure Corey will give you some great directions on how to get here. It's easy, we came down to philly using only like two highways.

I'm the guy on Celicatech. I'm not 100% sure if I'm going, but I would definitely like to. I'd be willing to meet up somewhere and drive together if I do. I'm not 100% on what the quickest way to go would be. I know Rt. 611 is pretty direct to that area...I've never really been up there though, so I'm not sure about how the road is traffic wise and stuff.

Eh, either way I'll let you know if you and anyone else wants to cruise up together.

Nefarious, Drew.....you guys comming up from Philly would probably be much better off comming up I-95 and then taking 31N to Route 46W in NJ. That will lead you to Route 80 much quicker than taking 611, because its alot of stop and go and through small towns if you take 611....I-95 and 31 are much quicker, but let me know if you need any more details when the time comes closer.

Also an update- I made the directions for westbound travelers a little easier by being more specific what to look for as you approach the meet. Updated list-

By the way....I'm thinking about maybe doing what the guys up in Rhode Island did last weekend and maybe make Sunday a day for us to do some drag racing. >> The local drag strip has a test and tune day on the 23rd from like 10am-4pm so maybe we could all grab breakfast that morning and cruise over to Island Dragway- www.Islanddragway.com . $25 dollars and you can make as many passes as you feel like, you just need to be inspected by them and have a helmet.

What do you guys think? >>

Hey Art, If you go to Mapquest and put in Dunnfield, New Jersey as the destination it will end you literally like 10 feet from where the meet is. For some reason because its a park they dont give the exit a number, but from 80 East its very easy to find.

13 days to go... man i dunno if the swap will be ready to go yet!!!?!?!!!!!!!

so stressful trying to wrap this up for saturday. i have most of the maintaince outof the way now. well the biggest (t-belt) monday ill get the clutch done and the rest of my maintance.. put on the new DP, than im left for mounts and i need to make some exhaust up to it.... hopefully the wiring is 100% (cant see y it wouldnt be).... time will tell. i should be able to pull it off.. for the amount of time into the swap im WAY ahead. (even adding the wasted time building tools *see my pictures)

if its not done ill bring one of my sr20 power'd cars.

your car was the 1st turbo celica i had ever seen in action and is kind of what made me belive that i should swap or turbo my car. after u blew your motor coming home from that meet, i new the answere was to SWAP...lol man that was ages ago! i was a complete noob back then haha

I really want to see you make it for the meet and post meet track day. I mean I dont know where you work but alot of places will honor an advanced notice of time you need off or if you can find somebody to cover your shift that might work also.

I've run the gamut with reasons to get out of work, from bad stomach aches/vomiting to serious family situations that needed my attention, to pretending to have car troubles. I can get away with these things at my job and they trust me to be good to them, however every job is different so do what you can do. I really wanna see your swap and so does everybody else.
