that pic is a little hard to read. the a/f looks way better then before

damn manny wasnt kidding about the car pulling timing like mad after 4grand.

great numbers tho..tipical 5sfe personality, more TQ then hp .. really sweet.

actually, its not.
its about 12psi. for some reason the car is pulling timing pretty hard right about 4500rpm, and that is giving me great torque # with the relitivly low whp#
i didnt have much time to play with my tune, i really need to get a handle on the timing thing.ill post a few more here later on today.

Manny has all of the launch vids, he used his camera when I was in the car and I used his camera when he was in the car. I just had a few vids (nothing too special)

as far as whos is faster...right now, i think i pull a little harder up to 4500rpm, where the ecu starts to go whacky with the timing, but from there, jeffs car continues to just pull and pull....and, he has the option of just turning up the boost...i wont turn it up much more than what it is..ill just try to fix that nasty timing issue, and if i can correct that i should be right about 225whp. the 5sfte is VERY fun, and a great learning project, but the goal was never to beat the 3sgte.
its just not gonna happen >wink.gif>

Jeff, you need to go farther than 50 ft. Each video it's a tease, you waste rubber on your tires and don't go anywhere. I want to see you take off and see how quick that thing is like in Manny's burnout video. The car sounds and looks beautiful Manny. Great work guys.

thats the problem with our cars. we were happy as can be at the stock 100hp for years, but now that you get a taste of 200hp... you start wanting 225hp then 250hp, then 300hp.... its just never ending. keep the car at a nice safe 200hp or so and forget about a swap being faster or not. there will always be someone faster no matter what you do. the cool thing is, you can count a small handfull of guys who are faster, but about a million other cars on the road that you can rip a new asshole into ! haha

manny is going only to double the rating of the stock car, i dont think its really the feel hes interested in, he just wants to proudly boast he doubled the output of the 5sfe, and did it the right way. i think from talking to him hes very happy with how the car feels >smile.gif>

You dont have to tell me how to take off.
This is just me having fun, don't worry when I'm ready you'll see how fast it is.
There other videos of my car taking off, maybe they will post it later on.
For right now, I enjoy wasting my tires. Manny maybe you should show them what I did to that parking lot. >biggrin.gif>
