This is a question for the ones that have their car lowered with ground effects. HOW THE HELL DO YOU SQUEEZE A JACK UNDER THE CAR TO LIFT IT! Just curious, i have always wondered.
very carefully!!!lol. i cracked my damn side skirt the other day. it was the part that wraps underneath the car though. you just gotta find a spot where it will go under.
ground effects

what a funny name

most people call it body kit

or w/e

but yea like he said very carefully

and actually there are spots marked out where you are supposed to do it so w/e

look in the owners manual
i know there are spots, but ive seen pics of cars that there is just no physical way you can get a jack under there without removing the sideskirt first.
right behinde the wheel under the wheel well

You want the trick heres the trick. I'll save you from damaging your ride. Buy yourself some wood. Measured out to 4 inches high, 1 foot wide and 3 feet long. Then just cut the front at a 30 degree angle, which would make a foot long wedge leaving two feet of lee way. Sand it all down to prevent splintering and you have custom wedges. Its worth it beleive me. My advise is make four, one for each tire.

Note: I did this because I have the z-lip kit and dropped in an inch which gives me a 4 1/2 inch clearance.
Jimmy, Thanks, thats what IM going to do. I was wondering how i was going to jack it up and what not. Im kinda iffy about taking her to a shop to get the muffler rewelded back on because of the clearence on the front. Oh well I may just have to back it on or something.

the differnce between a body kit and ground effect is that a body kit replaces your bumpers, while like ground effects that come on the corolla type s adds on tot he exsisting bumper, but ye ai just roll my car up on a piece of wood then jack it up
You can roll it up on wood or use your orignal jack in your trunk. Once you have it jacked up a bit you can use another jack to pump it up.
All I do is turn the wheel until I can get to the lifting point with a jack, but it's still a pain in the ass. I have to use the spare jack that comes with the car cause a normal jack won't fit and it takes forever to use the little crappy jacks.
i got the veil side body kit, so ther is a lil opening right in the front.

so i get a small jack, lift it up there, then get my other jack and hold it up.
when bringing down, i do the same
i use the original trunk mounted jack for your spare tire to get it up a little bit then get a big jack in there and go the rest of the way up
