yep, when I turn the wheel I hear a popping noise coming from the front pass. wheel. My cv boot is messed up. This kinda sucks because the wife and I are in the middle of buying a house and trying to get appliences for it. I know the boots don't cost much but it can just get me paranoid that something else might go wrong. I hope not. >>

replace axle for 100 and be done with it.

Yeah I know that would probably be better but if I can get by now with just fixing the boot I'll be alright until I can get some better cash flow.

if its making noise then changing the boot ain't going to help

yup if its already making noise, theres dirt and crap already in the axel. axels are cheap, you can buy one for around 78 with a life time warranty. return your old axel and you only pay 78.
