I was just wondering who out there thought they would have a featured ride one day.

I have some good, big plans for my car, but who knows if they will ever become reality, I guess it depends on how long I am single... Anyways I was just seeing if anybody thought their Celica was worthy of the honor.

I think it would be nice to have mine featured. I wouldn't want it now though, I don't feel as though my car is worthy right now.

I figure when I feel as though I have come close to having complete then I would feel good about it being featured.

i think i have a good shot once the motor is finished which should be soon then i gotta finish the exterior up and hopefully the cf hatches are done soon so i can through that on. >>

I agree. Maybe one day I can be featured if I ever get my engine the way I want it. If I do a allmotor 5sfe or 3sge, I think it could happen. I diffenately wouldn't look like any other Celica ever featured.

Just to clear things up, I'd like to make an all motor 5s just to show it can be done. I know the downsides of this, I just love going against the grain.

an all motor 5sfe has already been done. talk to johnL over at celicatech. he did a lot to his 5sfe and managed to get about 140hp at the wheels out of it vs the stock 105ish that the 5s dynoes at.

I think it's very possible and logical.... I mean if we could keep the old pics seperate to show what it was before and then if re featured show the new pics.

BUT- I need to complete ALOT to be privilaged enough to do it.

Also- how do you "find" the cars for featured rides?, Do you just search or does someone who wants a shot apply somewhere on here? Would someone just have to submit thier profile?

My original piece broke when it got flooded here, and I'm going to get a VIS C/F one soon to replace it-
I just have to finish paying for it in full and it should take 6-8wks.
the car is parked getting more engine work done and I'm considering starting my head swap already so I'm in no rush to replace it right now........
