looks good.  did u use zipties?

yes.. I was originally going to use the bent part of the grill to epoxy or screw into the bumper.. but when we bent the grill back.. .it ended up breaking.. so I used the zipties to hold it to the stock grill slats.. I was more worried about keeping it there than the looks of the zips.....

any suggetions?

honestly, I don't think it looks bad but I like it better without the grill.

only way to pull of the grill, is to put it from behind.

oh......
it was just that i really didn't like the "black hole".. where you could see the nasty radiator and the silver pipe coming from it.. i wanted to cover that up.....

any suggestions?

Maybe you could chrome the radiator pipes so it doesnt look so bad if you were going to ditch the grill...make them a feature or something.

hmmm i think i'm gonna keep the grill but will paint the black zip ties to match the color... I think it just adds to the body kit.. but i know sometimes i have a bad taste in how the car looks.... keep the ideas coming...

Thank you for the honest feedback :-)

interfooler!!..lol..jk.
just take off the grill, paint it black, and put it on from behind.
before painting it black....try it behind the bumper posts like I did...it looks way better that way
looking at your car i think it does look nice... i guess if someone could photoshop it on my car like that so i can get an idea on how it'd look with my kit....

What do you all think of moving the grill behind the bumper posts??

~Daniel~ No Longer Celica Owner.. moved on to a 03 WRX-EJ207
use white zipties, they dont show up as much. I used black zipties on my grill when i had it but my mesh was pretty thick betwee the spaces, so it didnt look weird or stand out alot.
Turbo or swap and put an intercooler in place of the grill.

Put the mesh behind the front bumper pillars... looks better imho... check my profile if you want to see a pic of it.

Sweet Grill.........Not really. Kinda looks like crap! >biggrin.gif>

Try putting it on the otherside of the black support pieces, might look better. Sorry for being blunt but just trying to give you a little feedback.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
nah i'm glad you all are being honest.. I just am not sure i'd like the posts being seen... but the other thing is i do plan on having the car painted soon, thinking about doing a blue... so i'm sure i'll have the grill painted to match.. perhaps that will look better even if i leave it the way mounted the way it is... idk...

hey jaws4god,
honestly, its a very good/neat job, like ppl have suggested put the grill behind the posts. i believe the 96+ front bars look better than the 95- front bumpers especially with matching grills. but they are all celicas and they all rock >biggrin.gif>

p.s. i actually bent my grill and superglued them on the front bumper, that way its much mroe rigid. just an alternative...

yo man, take a peak at my profile...I have the same kit as you and same color but the grill is on the inside. Looks a hell of a lot cleaner!
