Topic #29932 37 posts Started by CelicaBuddy
Alright... Here's what you wanted to see... the full kit!

And Just to see a difference, here's the spoiler... What do you think of it now? Im still a bit Iffy on the spoiler.. But I think it kinda flows now since there's a kit to go with it... But its grwoing on me, I might go with this spoiler, cuz its different, everyone goes for the wingless look... But still Lemme know what you think >smile.gif>

Tell me what ya think of the full kit! >biggrin.gif> and help me decide if I should go with the spoiler again >rolleyes.gif>

keep the wing.
always loved the supra wing.
i have one on my probe:)

looks great.

Jared Harwell
looks great! if your going to go with a wing you picked one of the best 3

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
I would love the wing if it was a bit lower... it seems a touch too high. Could be worse, but looks decent.

If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.
keep the wing!!
I'm undecided on the wing...it looks good either way. The kit looks sweet as well...tomorrow I'm going to start putting parts of my car together too.

New Toyota project coming soon...
what is that wing, where could i get it ????

i like it mate >smile.gif>

Life is for living, and you don't get a second chanceTake care now !!
The wing looks really good when the top is up. Looks ok when the tops down. I would say keep it.
Looks great overall Sabrina. You and your father did great work.

A Jaws4God Creation...
damn keep it...that looks sexy...i wish i had a convertible!
Everytime I see a supra wing I am reminded of how much I miss mine being on, although off looks good too, I say keep it.
Ditch the wing, it doesnt flow with car. The kit looks real good Bri, Really changes the look. You did good girl!

Here's the site where I bought mine from StreetBeatCustoms.com

But you could also check WingsWest.com... Cuz thats the brand of the spoiler >smile.gif>

Hmm... It seems like in this case of the wing, its either ya love it or ya hate it! LOL This was a long time ago, but remember when I first came up with this spoiler and everyone hated it? LOL

But yeah... Here's my story of the wing... I dont like the no-spoiler look... Yeah, it looks good sometimes, but now that I have a body kit, I kinda feel like somethin's missing on the trunk... Cuz there's nothin there... Yeah, i could go out and get a smaller spoiler... But I wanna do something totally different and off the wall... cuz everyone either goes with a tiny spoiler that doesnt work with the kit, or go with nothin at all... Yeah, it may not flow a bit, but I've seen way higher wings than this one other convertibles... And it didnt look bad at all...

But well... I still have time to decide, so keep the opinions coming >smile.gif>

{EDIT} Ya know.. now that I look at it and picture it without the wing... I think it looks kinda funny without it... Just a lil side note from me... >wink.gif> But keep your opinions coming people

It looks good with it, It looks much better without it. I think it gives it a little bit more of a "ricy/tuner" look. Where as without it, it looks like a nicer sports car. I say ditch it.
I would go spoilerless, or get the trd wing.
^^^

What does the TRD wing look like?

looks great! but you wheels are to small >wink.gif>

Toyota-Club-Steiermark e.V.Japanertreffen (Austria)
Axe the wing... horrendous if you as me. I really like the kit though... gj. Might be able to get away with it on a hatch... but for a coupe go with something lower profile... maybe even a lip like on a g35 or 350z.

I'm undecided. I think it looks good with it, and without it. If you like it, then keep it. It's your ride, no one else's. That's what's great about customizing cars.

The wing looks too big on the convertible imo, the car isnt big enough to carry it off, saying that Im a fan of big wings - check my profile >smile.gif>

1994 JDM GT4 WRC
well....i think yall did a great job!! i really like it (kinda looks like madmods )
Ive always thought that the wings looked good with the 6th gen celi convertable, with the top down.....but like others said its your ride so do what makes you happy >wink.gif>
I can't believe I am saying this but the wing is starting to grow on me....

I would still opt for a smaller one though.

Good luck with the paint job.

^^ Someone on here told me to get a TRD wing... But what I dont get is that its just as high as the one I have now! And people are makin sucha big deal on how tall it is... The wing I have now goes way better with my kit than this one would... Although it is a cool lookin wing, just not my style tho >smile.gif>

Just my opinion... >wink.gif>

Look at the wing in those two pics. I swear it looks shorter (and better) in the second pic. Weird.
