I found out my brother is going to New Orleans Monday. I can't believe this. He's not really the green peace type. I guess he has a friend who knows a guy who says they can go down there and make money. That's why he's going. My brother is a total freaking waste of space. He's 18 now, out of high school, and just hanging around the house. He's into drugs and drinking, and being mean to my mother. He didn't want to go to college, I have no idea why. He had a job at Bob Evans. It was his first job and he'd had it for about 3 weeks before he quit to do this thing. I'm just worried about my mom, and my brother. He's going to screw up his life. My mom worries about him so much, and he just takes advantage to her. I hope he just gets stratend up.

Going down to New Orleans with a "guy he knows" to "make some money"??? Wow, that sounds like trouble, big time.

I dont balme ya for being worried... What I dont get is how the hell is he gonna be makin money down there when everything is destroyed down there...

Maybe this'll teach him a lesson, cuz if he goes somewhere far... mommy wont be there to help him out... He'll havta figure things out on his own...

I'm worried he'll just get screwed over and not have any money to get back and just be clear, well, F'd.

dont worry to much. Hardly any bars open over here and not many ppl in New Orleans right now. Its still Martial law over there. He'll probably be staying on the northshore which is where I'm from and everything pretty much shuts down around 6pm right now.

If you need any help let me know.

Also most ppl are making anywhere from 25-50 an hour to clean out houses right now.

Sounds like my older borther.. Into drugs, has been for the past 8 years.. steals money from any oen he can, and has taking over $50,000 from my parents to blow up his nose.. He just stole money from me, and well Its sad cause im the youngist and im putting a stop to it.. Seems pretty bad to send your own brother to jail.. but its life..


Good luck man, I know how it is.. Just do your thing be there for your mom.. and well Hes gunna **** up his own ife.. as hard as it is, dont let it **** up yours, or your moms.

Hey hes got his life and you got yours! Its ok to be worried, but simply put hes 18, into drugs, life messed up so far, and not gonna be someone famouse one day. SO, let him be and let him do whatever he wants! Just make sure that when he comes back you don't help him out cause hes never gonna learn his lesson. Perhaps you should suggest him to join the military?

Military? LOL! He has no heart or commetment for that. And he's not dumb enough to sign up and think it's easy. I'm just letting him go, I'll help him if he needs it, but only in modderation. He pushed the take off date back to tomorrow, Friday. We'll see how it goes. I just hope he comes back one day, alive.
