Ok.. well im thinking i neeed somthing with lower miles.. I def want a nice reliable car, and am thinking, my dream car an 95-99 m3 is just to expensive to buy and then mantain while in college.

Im thinking a 99-02 solara v6 5 speed.. i found a lot around 10k with low milage. what you think.

they r nice cars, pretty good size 2. Ive driven my buddy's neighbours convertable. Even for a drop top it has alot of room and head room, plus it was a fun car. I think it would b sweet with a few mods to it. To me it felt like the ass end was 2 highup.

the coupe looks sweet. with the simple rear extensions and front extensions its total hotness. just dont expect much sport lol

depends if you want a sports car, a sporty car, or a two door camry.

Sexy, and if the money there not the issue - this would be my next car for sure.

needs suspension work for sure. The ride is VERY soft. A solara v6 with suspension work and a supercharger....now that would be nice.

this one person on cardomain has a pretty clean solara with a t3 turbo...
but then again isnt it a 5sfe too?

I have seena few 5fe turbos. but most are v6 turbos and superchargers.

I would only touch a v6 5 speed.

An Was thinking for the first things. I would have to drop it, then get some nice wheels.

Just trying to think of a nice newer car with lower milage for a decent price.

Any other ideas? Or just hold out for a lower milage 325is?

The solaras look fugly as heck!
The rear just needs a whole new design. It really sucks!
I saw one with a bodykit and it was alright, but still the rear sucks.

I like the style, but it def needs wheels and lowerd. I know its not a sports car or anything, but a nice cheaper sporty car.

The new ones on the other hand, look ugly. Im talking about 99-02

I dont know what im doing. My car right now is in peaces for the most part. Half the interior is int he garage and my wheel baring/hub is messed up. Im doing the body work, and my sub box, whitch is half finished.

Over the fall an winter, il be molding my sideskirts, finishing body work, and putting on the front lip. Il finish my sub box and interior parts for my stero and prolly a custom car-puter.

Its just not really fast enough for me, and its small. But everytime i do drive it, I cant see my self selling it for a large sedan or somthing less "fun" to drive.

The biggist thing is, Its slow. Sooo Im getting bored with it. An Im not sure if i want to tackle a swap. maybe if i can get a nice daily by spring .. who knows.. Just getting ideas.

i thought you had a 3sgte engine waiting to be installed???

I love the 05 solaras! too bad ur not opting to buy one of those!

I know two people with the solara your looking for and one has actually done some mods to his and the other is just driven by a lady at work. Both love their car and have no complaints about it. I think the 05 looks better but either way i like it and think you should really consider getting one! just make sure its not that silly purple color!
