I'll share a secret on buying cheap car audio!!! - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #30110 10 posts Started by Niskyspy
Ok, here we go. Some people probably know about this already but for some this will be a really cool discovery. I've done this a couple of times, thats how I got 180$ off of my Kenwood Amp (brand new) and today I used it to order myself an Infinity perfect 1240W Sub for 68$ (brand new)
So here we go, follow the steps and u should get a great discount on you next car audio from a reliable online store.

1) Go to www.sounddomain.com and find what you want.
2) On the right side of the screen you will see 105% guarantee (this means that if you find a cheaper price on the same product anywhere else online they will give you that price and 5% less) There are some restrictions to this, and here they are:

You are eligible for 105% Lowest Price Policy if your request meets the following conditions:
* The Internet retailer must be a regular dealer of the item. No private individuals or auctions please.
* The Internet retailer must have the identical item in-stock at the time of the price match.
* The item must be a regular in-stock item. Lowest Price Policy does not apply to close-outs or discontinued merchandise.
* The item must ship directly from the Internet retailer. Our Lowest Price Policy does not apply to dealers that rely on drop-shipping or third party fulfillment.
* We must be able to verify the price on the Internet retailer's website.
* We must be able to verify all applicable charges including shipping fees and taxes before entering credit card information.

We reserve the right to limit our lowest price policy if:
* The Internet retailer's shipping fees exceeds ours.
* The Internet retailer's lower price requires membership fees, coupons, product-bundling purchase, or rebates.
* The Internet retailer is not an authorized dealer for the item.

2) Find the product model name/number and copy it
3) Go to www.froogle.com (its a search engine created by google.com but it only searches for online stores)
4) Search for ur product model name/number
5) Find the cheapest deal (check all the restrictions, and if everything looks OK copy that website URL address)
6) Go back to the 105% Sounddmain thinny and fill out a form, it will ask you for the URL of the website that has the lower price, their price, ur name and ur email.
7) Wait a couple of hours, maybe a day and you might get a mad good deal.

Thats it!!! >smile.gif>

Yeah, done that before too.

Scored better with ebay though, and locustaudio.com

If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.
actually, yahoo has the cheapest stuff

The most important lesson I learned from Karate-Dô Kyôshan–“You can not be what you do not believe you are”
Like I said if u find it cheaper u can get it even cheaper from cardomain.com

Compare to locustaudio.com
They sell kac-7252 Kenwood amp for $135+$30for shipping.
I got my kac-7252 from sounddomain.com for 119$+14$for shipping. And I dont really like Ebay cuz ppl always get ripped of on that and I dont want to be one of them.

OR.. Work at CircuitCity, or BestBuy and get it at cost or below through acomidations.. witch is anywhere from 50%-75% off.. I WIN >biggrin.gif>
Or ...... Make a friend who works at Circuit City, Best Buy Or any retailer who carries car audio product.
Or ...... Buy a bunch of product from one company & work out a deal (20% Off)
Or ...... Stop tying to save $30.00 & waste all that time working on saving $30.00 bucks (Time + Effort + Aggravation + Stress + Reading fine prints + All Other BS = So not worth it)

5min of work is not that much work!!!
And since I am not a lazy ass I and since I dont have friends that work at any of them audio stores. I use this to save me some money. And hey 30$ of savings is half of Infinity Ref 1240W sub. its not like u just find 30$ everyday.

Nickyspy, I know exactly what you mean. Clarion APA250 amp, regularly sells about US$89 on most places. Found it on thezeb.com (I think that was it) for US$59.99. Shipping was higher, and warrenty coverage uncertain. Got it from CarDomain.com at the low price.

Did the same thing with my wiring kit. Found it for US$40, CarDomain.com had it for US$19, searched high and low and found one for US$13. Got it for US$12.

The real benefit with CarDomain's price matching is you can get a batch of items at the lowest prices available on the web, and save on the shipping because you're getting it from one company. Had I bought my amp and kit separately, I'd have paid about $25 in shipping. Buying them from CarDomain.com, got them for $15 shipping + tax (in-state) and had them shipped in a day.

BTW, the price I got from CarDomain, once you figure in shipping, was about $50 less than Ebay -- and I get a warrenty.
