so last night (friday) i hit up the local street races

raced a few times... beat an integ, beat a saturn ion, and lost to a new prelude with a h22 by two car lengths

so everyone was starting to break up and i decided to leave... just as i was my friend was racing his 03 boosted si against a 94 z28 camaro so i stuck around

that ended up being the biggest mistake ever

i got my ass rolled by some cop who got a call on street races

i wasnt doing anything wrong at the time, just had my car parked on the side of the road

so i was looking at a huge ticket and maybe even a towed car

as i was sitting around waiting for him to decided what he was going to do we got into friendly conversation about cars... it turns out that this cop had a 92 celica gt that he used to actually street race. so we talked for a while. shared stories and he ended up letting me go just because we both had celicas and he felt like being a nice guy

im so lucky >>

dumbass for street racing.... but mad props on gettin outta trouble for dirving a celi

Thats dargerous conversation with a cop, he could have been playing you.

but yeah props on getting off due to the celica.

Yeah down here we have even had cops come on to our local forums and try and figure out where people race. I only bring the celi to the track though. Screw racing on the streets.

If he didn't witness you doing anything and no one ratted you out, there was nothing to write you for....you would have gotten off anyway unless he perjured himself in court.

here in CA, u can get a ticket and a tow just for being a unparticipating spectator. its that bad. >>

You know a thread isn't gonna start out well or be any good when you see this as the opening sentence.

yeah thats also why its really bad to post videos of youseft or your car doing anything illigal or considered illigal, because that is up for grabs by any law inforcement agency with accesss to the internet. and you have posted it so you dont have any rights over them using it against you.

So just be very aware of what you say or post anywhere on the net.

Tip, if you wana talk about a race, just say "I raced a (whatever it was) and I took him or whatever, dont mention where or when. also that keeps the Anti-Street racers off you back as well.
