I think I've found my 6th gen.. - 6G Celicas Forums

Not bad... if you really want an automatic.
Too much for the miles, I say.
way to many miles on it for that price. especially if you plan on turboing it.
I'd hold out if you plan on pouring money into it. Its a bad idea to have a project car with high miles. Plus, you'd love a manual so much more man. Although I gotta admit the market is getting pretty bad lately. I bout mine about a year ago, and it took me forever to find one. My friends said i should go with a ford, or a honda or something, but for the money i had, my celica can't be beat. Good luck.

I dont think there is a shift kit out there. I would try to get it for 4k.

Definately try to talk them down on the price. I think they set the price high on purpose, so don't seem TOO eager to hand over 5g. The mileage is alot for that price too. Check out kbb.com to see what its worth.
Actually, I'm about to buy boibleu22's celica..

Its the ****.. I'm excited as hell.

I bought my Celica a week ago from a Toyota dealership. It's a '95 GT, white, 110k miles.... very clean (prev owner was 45 years old) and the sticker price was 5,995. We talked it down to 5,000 with TTL. I would't pay 5,000 for over 110,000 miles, especially from a racer kid or something. Just my opinion. Oh, and this is my first post! >wink.gif>
