well, i got a call a few days ago from my district manager asking me to take over a store and become manager, at first I said no I'd rather hold off for a bigger store, but then I looked at the numbers of the store, and they were extremly well. And then the shocker came, the manager before me quit and went to the army, so they have noone to give the end of the year bonus to. They said if I take the store, i get the bonus, which comes out to about $14,000 after taxes. Now I was thinking, if I sell my car for $6,000, then save up for a few month I could easily have $25,000, now what car have I always dreamed about having, but never had the money to buy... this bad boy I figure I can just finance the $10,000 and have a nice Evo MR or save some money and get the Evo IX with the leather seats and sun roof (which im more leaning towards). Anywho, im really happy I got promoted, im only 1 years old and a store manager. Im finally feeling like im starting to accomplish something. Oh ya, while on the car thing, i test drove a Neon SRT-4 after i test drove the Evo (VIII).... the srt-4 seamed.... boring...

nice. evos are fast but i never liked the "exterior styling". once again, let the flaming begin. lol. i guess i have weird taste. i love the supra's looks. i guess i like more of the smooth modern look instead of that boxy style.

me too. i dont dig the lancer look. even tho the srt 4 looks like a neon, id take that with a stage 3 turbo kit. boo to the rear windows tho, u have to roll them down!

You're coming into $14,000 and you want to sell your Celica? Why has no one else suggested a bad ass 3SGTE and AWD conversion. You'll kill Evos all day and look damn good doing it.

i would love to have a 3sgte swap done, but I dont want the hassle of something going wrong and im not too great on how engines work so... I figured an Evo would be a fast enough car for me, and it has a warranty so I dont really have to worry about things going wrong. And I guess its kind of a "fashion" statement that I can actually afford an Evo. Anyways I work at radioshack btw.
