I say we just do this and meet at Kansas. It would be lots of fun. And i garentee we could get a lot of people to go there. Lets just do this all winter and get it all planned out while its winter and when its summer time lets do it. Cmon people.
i'll have family in KC so i'll have a decent layout of the city, might be driving out there right after xmas too so if i do i'll do recon work and take pictures of spots i find

qualifications for this meet

2) big parking lots
3) windy roads, long roads, highways

I still suggest east coast meet before anything national. TBH I doubt i'd go to anything past pennyslvania/ohio.

JDM guy made me do it.
Word. Lets do this. Cmon everyone. There's a lot of people wanting to go to KC. but only four votes for KC whats the prob? I mean if we get everyone to just agree to go. We can do this. I'll even bring a cooler full of Deer steaks, and Jerky and hamburgers and hotdogs. We all buy hotdogs and burgers to take up there and we will all be good. for a nice little BBQ >wink.gif>
i say Oklahoma. but, i will go to KC too.

Remember that bonzaisushi and I live in KC so we would be happy to make arrangements.  Lots to do, and some great photo opportunities with the skyline in the background, as well.

97lestyousay, why such hate for the Chiefs?  After all, they are better than the Seahawks >tongue.gif>

I would definitely be willing to help make arrangements seeing as I live in the area also. This would be an awesome meet.

Sweeeeet. Where do you live?

edit: n/m I saw you have JoCo plates >biggrin.gif> We should meet up sometime to discuss matters, pending they want the meet here.

I am also prone to having a central, east, and west meet. See how those go and maybe have a national meet the year after. Food for thought.

Yeah, even just a central meet would be cool. Right now I'm in Manhattan for school at K-State but I come back to Olathe a lot. The only Celica drivers out here I've seen are ditsy chicks and a couple very foreign guys, none of which have any appreciation for their cars.

What part of KC are you from. Sushi is from OP I think, I see a lot of his stuff on KCSR.org and I think I met him once back in the day when I had my Mustang lol

Ay listen old man, you quiet yourself.

The Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap, with 318 curves in 11 miles, is America ’s number one motorcycle and sports car road. The nearby Cherohala Skyway is quickly becoming number two with its remote 60 miles of scenic mountain highway. The area also has other roads less traveled, but just as exciting.

That Tail of the Dragon? Isnt that NC?
