winter question - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #30447 6 posts Started by HaRv3sTeR
Can running a shot ram intake in winter be harmful for an engine?

Unless you're getting stuff stuck on the air cleaner, it should actually be better for the engine.. more like a CAI.

If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.

how come

its just cold air, better than sucking hot air.

It's not just about getting from point A to point B anymore....
yeah the colder outside it is the more hp your car is gana have, because colder air is more compact so you will be getting more air in a burn then if it was hot, witch means you will have a bigger exsplotion and more power.

I cant see how it would ever harm your car. maybe your thinking about some other aspect of winter like snow or something.
oh yes my baby really loves the winter months
