Well, I love my celica, but its just to slow, and I dont want all the hassel from a swap. So, im looking for a new car (which I guess I will have in about January) at first I was looking into an Evolution IX, but the price tag kinda scared me, $36k for the model I wanted. Then I started looking into an S2000, the price was in my range of the mid 20's, but the car is only a 2 seater, and the only time there are less than 3 people in my car is when im going to work. Now im looking at a 2003-2005 350z. Stock they run a ~14.1 quarter mile, thats not bad by any means, but I want something faster that can kill pretty much anything on the road, so I called up turbonetics, they said if I bought the kit and if the average person could not get a quarter mile time of under 12.6 they would personally refund my money and shipping costs. So, now my heart is set on a 350z. And after seeing this, I definatly want to get it now. CLICK HERE

Isnt a 350z a two seater as well? All three that I test drove were two seaters.

Those are nice lookin, quick cars; my dad was looking at those when he was shopping for a new car. However, they do have their problems. The build quality it seems is not quite up to par for nissan; there are alot of complaints about the interior especially.

oh **** that just ruined my day, I used 2 have a 300zx and it was a 2x2 seating so I just assumed. Well, I guess its not that bad, my gf needs to get her car and i'll make sure its a 4 door, so w/e its just me and her we take my car, and other ppl we take her car. But damn that sucks, i really thought it had back seats :-( I drove 1 about a year ago and didnt even realize it didnt have em. Oh well.

Ok you have a car that seats 4, but its too slow so now you want something much more expensive, and then add a turbo to it...why not just add a turbo? Also, if you modify the engine any warrantee that you get will be voided.

u can find a slightly used evo for 25grand

ya i know about the warranty, but I dont plan on adding the turbo for about a year or so. And dealers around here give crappy warrantys, like 3 year 36k mile. I just want a nice car that not "everyone" can afford. I know alot of people have 350z's and evolutions, but how many of them are 19 and have earned it on there own. I dunno what I want :-( I guess I will just think about it for another month or 2. Are there any other cars that are pretty nice that maybe im over looking? I want a 2000 or up car. I know I could buy a supra for around $20,000 but I dont really want to spend that much on such an old car.

350z's are 2 seaters. 300zx's came in the 2+2 and as a 2 seater, the 2+2 was a consiberably longer car





you can tell by the placement of the fuel door too, the 2+2 has it behind the rear wheels while the 2 seater has it in front

how about a wrx, rx8, IS300 or if you want a 4 seater 350z... Infinity g35. But that will run you around $35k

Go for the Infiniti G35 coupe.... It's a 2+2 I believe

If you go for an older/used WRX you can get it for around 15K

I don't understand why you are looking to get rid of your Celica so soon, hell, you even came here after me!

subarus are s**t as well I know 5 people that have had to pay $5000 for engine repairs and even changing the cambelt will have you in tears. Does that 300 zx have a cambelt or cam chain?

But really try looking more before decideing.. i mean you didnt even know that 350's were only 2 seats.. >> Also you want a new car with more power, cause you dont want to swap, but you want to turbo the new car?? What? why?

Id say look into a m3, rsx-s, intregra-gsr, prelude, 7th gen celica gts,

Also the g35 is basicaly a 4 seater 350.. but a lil more pimp, a lil heavier so a lil bit slower.
