The amount you put in could be used for a down on a new car. Either way, save or scrap will cost you just about the same. Just that with a new car it will last you a lot longer, then having a used engine that will go at any time.
If the body is in good shape then i recommend the swap... thats what i'm gonna do when my engine goes.. I've put to much work into body kits, and neons, and interior... so its getting some HP next >biggrin.gif>

I've to agree with Jaws.
If the car body is in good shape, I say go for the
swap >smile.gif>

The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed?
If your anywhere near Michigan, I'll give you a 7A from a 96 ST (manual tranny though). Just taking up space in the garage.

^^^^ do that - - saves money!

even having the motor shipped to you would be cheaper than anything.
