The other day my wife called me to tell me that a silver celica with a oem cf hood was parked out in front of where she works. She told me that the driver had just gotten out and I asked her to to go tell him about this site but as she was going to do that he got into another car with some people and rode off. I asked her to put a note on the car but she said it made her feel weird and told me that she wasn't psychotic about celicas like I am.

I hope to see him driving around sometime. Alot of people on here have friends on here that live close that they can hang out with, but I have no other celica buddies except you guys. >> (sad, I know)

yeh i am in the same boat, there are a couple of 5gen kids out here but they are dumb. 6 GENS MOVE TO EAST TENNESSEE!

i feel the loneliness too - though there are celicas where i am - they are driving by old people or people that thinks of it as just another car.

Ive seen some 4 or 5 nice 6th generations around me but I dont think any of them are on here and they are not even on the local forums. So instead I hang with this guy that has a geo with a 7afe in it.

A few months ago I seen a few semi-fixed up celicas cruising around here.

One was the factory dark green with the 404 bodykit and white rims,

the second was a stock blue with dark blue flames painted on the sides,

the third had a unique paaint job (pink in the front which fades to purple in the back with a trible graphic on the side.) That was it for awhile then she got some enki rims.

They were the only other customized celicas around here and I haven't seen any of them in a long time.

Now there's another celica (the one I spoke of up top) but I probably won't find him either.

Oh well....

I see a few now and then over here, but they don't come to this site. There are a couple white ones that have rims and stuff, and I have left notes, but no one shows up. Also a lot of them around here are trashed.

I see Celicas every now and then that are some what fixed up... Most of the time theyre all half assed body kits... Like a kit with only the front end and the rest being stock... LOL

Now that i think about it, I rarely see fixed up celicas... : /

mainly stock in perth, but ive seen a few kits on some mainly invader style (as mine will b soon! ha!ha!) we dont have much choice here without costing an arm&leg.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Turned out she had a 97 GT- I ended up putting a JL system in it and she bought some 18's from my freinds shop all in the same day.

We have a 100+ members in Houston Toyota Club and like only (3) 6th gens. I get sick of hanging with mostly 7th gens and MR2's sometimes.

There arnt any 6gc's that have anything done with them near me besides afroman in Lincoln right now. Every other one i see is an old person or a person that isn't into cars and just think of it as an ordinary car.

It's great that our cars (esp. modified) are not common...makes us and our cars more individual and unique. I never get tired of people staring at my car, and it is only slightly modified.

There is now 4 celica's in my town including mine. All are GTs but 2 of them are old people driving. The 3rd one is a girl that musta just turned 16. Its a vert and white. Waiting till tonight to go to my friends to see if his neighbors home to tell him to get his g\f on this site, (thats who owns the celi) lol but she prob wont do anything to it seems like a person that doesn't care about cars, but she needs to know (6g celica's are very rare) and i love my ride

There are quiet a few Celicas over here, last Saturday we had a meet where we went Ice skating and had 7 Celicas out the front of one house.

OMG thats seems more than TEXAS

Come on over to www.celica-club.co.uk to take a look around

we get to meet up at least once a month to look at each others rides.

and fortunately for us and our small island we can meet up a couple of times a year for a big meets and we also can take part in Club track days.

I take it thats just the benefit of living in a small (in comparison to the US) Country
