Yes yes... to USA......

Thought about this long long time agon and stil thinking about this now.....

I have oportunity to move to Cali.... To Los Angeles... have some friends living there.. ahve the oportunity to get to Chi town (chicago...) cuz i do have lots of friends living there.. So im still thinking about this as a reality. i just might move open my own shop there and live for few years... But still Need some one to convince me about this... Need pros and cons of the US... Cuz i do have some thoughts bout moving to Norway, UK, or even other countrys in Europe...

Just loud thinking....

hmmm DCW in america? has a nice ring to it >wink.gif> that would be cool, give it some thought though, thats a big decision. i like it here, but havnt lived anywhere else so dont have much to compare to. i personally wouldnt move to a big city, i like going to them every once in a while, but i couldnt live in chicago or la or ny, just not me.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
many many Pro's... chicago... biggest con.... only 6 hours away from my annoying ass.... lol umm you could really make a good living here considering bodywork is much more, gas is cheaper, the language is spoken a lot faster so you might have SOME problem... just takes some time... no SS-III unless you manage something cool.... You could pretty much OWN the 6gc, mr-2 production of custom parts.... cons... cali *emissions will rape you* chicago has a good ammount of crime and you will have to pick a nice place to live.... Overall I think the pros outweighs the cons
I think a pro would be more demand for great DCW parts and cheaper gas. I think everyone else covered it.

thats true, the second part anyways. politics suck everywhere, thats just a fact of life >smile.gif> what type of area do you live in now? might be a culture shock moving to la/chicago if your not used to it.

I just want to shake your hand, bro. I think it's a decision that takes a lot of thinking. Miami's nice. VERY NICE LOOKIN B!TCHES. Lol. Goodluck with whatever you decide. With your creativity, you'll make some good money anywhere in the US. And if you do move to the US, we really must organize a huge meet.

Regardless of your friends here, how would you get an immigration visa?

LA and Chicago are both nice, Chicago you have to deal with snow so that can be a pain (or fun >wink.gif> for cars..

LA you have more constant traffic.
cali weather and women, nuff said!

Yeah, I hear there's a lot of flooding when it rains in the lauderdale area. i'm more in the miami area. like where they filmed 2F2F. lol. The street racing scene here is nothing like in the movie, btw. lol. I never really get flooded in my area. the only thing you have to get used to is hurricanes every once in a while in the summer-fall season but most of the time it's nothing too serious. and when it is, as long as you're prepared, you'll be straight. im so used to the hurricanes that i dont even think about it. i actually forget that we have those. lol. and romas, if you cant find a job here, you can always work for carter verone and transport money for him. lmao.
Romas, you can live in my basement!

Ever heard about green stuff >wink.gif> (green card...)

Snow is normal thingy for me cuz we get it here every year and lots of it >wink.gif>

Chi town would be way better for me, but i hate to stay in the place there lots of people from my country are living around (about 300K of lithuanians are living in Chi town so... >rolleyes.gif> )

Well, everything will be more or less clear after new year, cuz i might have some changes in my life.....

well, marry her and move here to st. louis MO. This place needs a kick in the butt from somebody like you

The most important lesson I learned from Karate-Dô Kyôshan–“You can not be what you do not believe you are”
umm, what happens to the SSIII? do you bring it with you? because if you do i NEED to see that.
Come to Arkansas. Theres a lot of morons, idiots and fruitcakes who are always ramming there cars into trees, guardrails and what not cause the geography is so mountainous, curvy and great for drifting. Trust me a body shop owner wouldn't even have time to take a shi*, cause they be so busy with body repairs on those cars that have carried a piece of the mountain side.

A mechanic I talk too said he had to get out of the body repair business cause he couldn't repair body damage fast enough to clear room for the next 5-9 cars in the lot. >biggrin.gif>
Indianapolis isn't too far from Chi-town (couple hours) you could move there....
well i can vouch for a few reasons why you would like L.A.

5. the terminator is our governor. he can kick the ass of any other governor, lol

4. in & out hamburger fries and shakes, need i say more?

3. import scene galore. heres where it started, so naturally this is THE place to be. (dont mind the laws, no one here does anyways)

2. disneyland, knotts, universal, six flags. 30 mins from beach, couple of hours from mountains, 2 hours from TJ, 5 hours from vegas.

and last but not least

Am I the only person who thinks it's actually a good idea to stay were you are? Your set up there. People know were your place is at, and they know your good. Given that the 6gc community would support you here. But why is everyone so exited for you to come here? You already make parts and sell them to us, all it's going to do is maybe save a couple of bucks for shipping if you live here. There are a ton of custom shops in the US and I'm not sure how easy it would be to compete, especially in Cali. You really half to concider your girlfriend and friends there. Is your girl really comfertable with you moving? It wouldn't be right to make her do something she doesn't want. I'm sure all of these things have crossed your mind. Just really think about this thing before you go and move here, don't want to make a mistake.

Romas, if u wanna move some where nice and some where that NEEDS a buinsess like urs. Come to Toronto. If u move to Canada, u get free health care, relatively low taxes, beautiful areas surrounding, its a great place to live(been here my entire life), most ethnicly diverse city in Canada, maybe even north america. Great friendly people. The city its self is expanding, great school system(free too btw). There are very few businesses in Toronto that do coustom work and the ones that do are booked up for like 6 months in advance. Toronto is about an hour or 2 from the US boarder, its much easier to get into the country than the U.S. Plus here, we got stronger beer >biggrin.gif> . But seriously man, think about moving to Canada. There are plenty of great cities up here and the climate is pretty much the same as in Lith.
doggy.... as you know i was born not to far away from were you are at and moved to america when i was young. after living hear for a long time now and talking to my family back in europe, i can tell you that you will love america.

15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
Forkee - You made my mind!!!!!! LOL!

well.... as i said, more or less everything will be clear after new year... Will pick a place if i move for sure... but more or less im still thinking Chi town (talked with few peeps around there last night so.....) Thanks people for suport, and if everything will be as it should be maybe you will see me at all US meet >wink.gif> Who knows.....
