hi all,
jus bought some guage..and troubled on how to install them...any help ?..i kno the lighting can be routed to the ash n cig lighter..how bout the others?
voltemeter has three wires (red, black, orange), air/fuel ratio guage has 4 (red, black, orange, green)...i read the directions and it jus shows pictures.....the unstructions for the air/fuel ratio guage says one goes to the 02 sensor sender?....some1 plz help!?!?!?!!?!?!?!
what brand gauges do you have?? that might help decode the wires. But based on what youve said, id would guess:

red: swtich on 12 v power
black: common ground
orange: dash light power for lighting
green: connection to the sender

this is just a guess, since i dont know what brand you have

Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it...
im using toms motorsport guages..yea ur right on the color of wires....ive gotten a post from negative and now i know how to route the signal wires...if im not mistaken i can disconnect the o2 harness n plug it in with the connectors right?...

now im ready but if tehres anything i might need to do b4 i F8K everything up, can ya lemme kno?...

thanx in advance

Thanks for the mention. I stress that you do use the method I discussed - if you splice into the o2 sensor wires you will cause problems because you change the resistance - that's how those signals work.
Just plug it into the connector between the o2 wires and the wiring harness - done.
Peice of cake. I could take a pic for you but I don't have anyway to host it.

Edit - just noticed you are OBDI - you should only have two wires on your one (not two) o2 sensor. Should make things easier for you. If I'm correct on this and I'm not 100% because I'm OBDII.
