Windsheild Cleaning - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #3103 10 posts Started by Zoom
Okay, you know (at least I have) the line seperating where the windshesheild wipers go back and forth and the rest of the windsheild? Well I clean fast and furiousely with windex time and again but I can't seem to get it to go away.

I was wondering if anyone recommends other glass cleaners that may take it off, or is there to stay for good as long as you use windshield wipers, as most people tell me?
I haven't tried this but I've heard that if you use newspaper rather than paper towels, the glass cleaner works better....I've just heard it though.

Just a thought! >wink.gif>
I heard the same thing about the newspaper. I'm going to try it next time I clean my car.
try toothpaste, havent used it myself, but I seem to remember it as being a remedy for this problem

I found that glass wax works pretty well. It doesn't take it completely off, but its like car wax in that is has a tiny bit of abrasive. I like the stuff. It comes in a red and gold metal bottle at most parts stores, at least the stuff i get.

Ahh.... so the hobos must be on to something.
Use newspapers and diluted vinegar. if that doesn't work, use straight vinegar.
