I got myself a 6G last Sunday - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #31033 18 posts Started by RocketScott
Finally, I'm able to register and post.

I just bought a 6G celica last Sunday and really love it. I'd post a picture but it's completely stock so it looks like every other '94 black GT liftback.

I've fixed most of the little things that were wrong. Replaced the power antenna, bunches of burned out lights, peeled off the fake wood interior, gave it a bath. Scored the power antenna at the junkyard along with three rims that are in decent shape (they were used as curb feelers a few times). The car came with a set of winter tires that aren't mounted so as soon as I find one more rim I'll get those put on. Then I can get a set of performance tires on my original rims for next summer, ye ha!

Thanks to all of you that post the good advice and info. I've been reading this site for about a month and waiting for the right car. This is my secondary vehicle so it will just be for personal enjoyment. I don't have too much planed for it at this point. fixing up the inside first, maybe a new instrument cluster and blue leds.

If for nothing else, being able to find my cupholders was worth the cost of membership.

Welcome! You're local so you'll have to come out to one of the Northwest meets sometime. smile.gif

Sadly, I have no digital camera. Next time you have a meet maybe you could take some for me. Is there a calender for stuff like this?

You can only move here if you have a black Celica. I have a spray gun if you'd like to convert to the dark side.

black, In my opinion, is the most rewarding color of all colors. Once you clean it, you can actually SEE a major difference in shine and richness. The only problem is keeping it that way... especially in the great north west.
