Well my question is pretty much in the topic Description. What would an ECU Upgrade fromEl Prototypes do for me? Where would I see some gain, how much, and how? Anybody have one?

Set you may most probably have a usa car, the chip would not be J.spec unless you had a 3SGE.
Most probably, the ecu is an replacement program for higher performance.
There have not stated how you can program it, but it will have better fuel and ignition maps for more hp & torque.
The ecu with only increase HP & torque substantailly if you have alot of mods. But even then, you do not have the flexibility to change the ecu parameters for better perfomance.
I would advice you to but an aftermarket ecu like AEM, AUtronics, Hlatek, Motec and get it install.
In the long run, it would be cheaper to go this way than just keep on upgrading the chip for each advance mods you do.
