i planning in buying a 6th gen soon and i was wondering whats the differences between a gts and a gt for the 6th gens? i perviously owned a gts 5th gen and i know that the gts has wider fenders then the gt. would it be the same for the 6th gens or maybe other different features? engine? interior? etc? thanks

they r the same except that GTS is the canadian version of the GT. Only big difference is that the GT came with the 8 speaker system, where as the GTS only came at most 6.

GT-S comes with the leather package (knob, seats, door trimmings, steering wheel), a/c, CD stereo, power sunroof and ABS as standard options, unless someone can confirm otherwise. I'm not sure if there are any others...
and i believe the US GT's are the same as canadian ones. some models come with certain features and some don't. like leather, 4/6/8 spkr package, ABS and A/C just to name a few.

unless the previous owners swapped my seats out, i didn't get leather. nor do i have a sunroof. GTS model. 94 though, maybe after that year the stuff came standard.

the GT-S I think is the same. But my GT doesn't have ABS does anyone else's GT have ABS? if so what were the years that GT came with ABS? mine is a 97 i have an ABS light but it doesn't work and don't have ABS.

suspention is the same...and yes, no leather this way, nor did it come with an OEM sunroof(after market all the way). I think the GTS is just the canadian version of the GT that came factory with ABS.
Yeah mine is a GT-S, cloth seats, abs, no sun roof. I think the 94-95 is sorta weird 96-99 was when they re-did the car and is more like a 7th gen in the options and stuff.

did anyones gt front struts come sealed, i have a gt-s. i had to get st strut housings.
The GTS in canada adds a sport suspention, leather wrapped steering wheel, and on manual cars, a leather wrapped shift knob. This would be the exact same thing as the sport package for the US models.

yea...the leather wrapped shift knob sucks, the leather on mine pealed off. Also, did they make the actuall GT-S after 95?? I have only seen 94s and 95s. Ive seen some chick who goes 2 the tim hortons'/wendy's around here whos drivin a 97(has the OE sides..soo hooooot) who slapped a new GTS badge on it. Every time i see her though i dont have n e flyers with me or im not drivin the celi.
