My girlfriend wants satellite radio for christmas. She wants to go with Sirius because they have better stations and Howard Stern. The problem is that Sirius doesn't have a portable version like XM does so that she can go running with it. Actually they do have one portable unit, but i doesn't play live radio. You have to record the radio on to it. I've been doing some research and found out that the XM antennas will work with Sirius. So I was wandering, does anybody know if the power adapters are interchangeable too? If so, I can get the portable XM kit and hook the Sirius unit to it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The one that just came out plays live radio only when pluged into a docking station. You have to record the radio onto it to listen to it without a docking station. This is the one that just came out.

no you cant, because you wont get any reception....why do you think sirius hasnt relased a portable? because they cant support it. XM has ground antenna repeaters that give you alot better reception while sirius dosent. so even if you rig a sirius up to be portable your hardly gonna get reception
