Kinda crazy, kinda controlled... how was yours? I ended up selling 45K... not to many crazy ppl..woman was about to get in fight before we opened the doors. I guess ppl get stupid about 199 labtops

CompUsa was insane!!! we had the police regulating how many people were coming in cause we opened up at 12 at night which by the way not a smart move only calling in 4 people to run the entire store. needless to say i survived barely and my sales were pretty crappy cause people cant read adds correctly. I will make sure to quit retail asap as its too stressful and the people that come in know pretty much nothing of the internet or they could order most things online. Some people were waiting since 6 oclock outside of my store waiting to grab and dash as fast as they could. it was 20 degrees out that night so 6 hrs in the cold apparently doesnt stop the one time shoppers still.

Those damn laptops.. I had to ring every one up. well every computer.. with that stupid aol thing, i just told the customers to shut up, stay calm and quit bitching, or i wouldnt ring them up, and i was the only one.. it was funny.. They were all my btichs.. but working 15 hours starting at 3:45, sucked

haha, oh man....people lined up at best buy thanksgiving at 7pm just for those laptops. they had a dj and food starting at midnight. my gf and i lined up at 4 and i still was able to get what i wanted. 512mb memory stick duo for $40, dvd+r DL, dvd+rw, 75 dvd+r/25 cd-r for 3 bucks, and a dvd recorder for $70

w00t. came home at 6am and slept for 6 hours. =p

i worked 8:30-3:00 no shopping for me lol

this was probably the 1st black friday i didnt work... its amazing to be able to sit at home and not have to deal with it for the 1st time in years of my retail hell.

my store sold about $40,000 worth of stuff, thats pretty good for being a medium sized radioshack, so my bonus will be pretty nice this month.

lol, no car so i missed it all.
didn't even see any adds that made me want to fight the lines.

i got up at 3:30 and was out the door at 4 started shopping at 5 and was done and home by 11 black friday should be every friday

I woke up at 3am got to bestbuy at 3:30 I saw the line of people going around bestbuy already.. so I just went back home and slept went back there at 10am and still got the stuff I wanted. except for the 512 DDR ram for 40 bucks -.-

I went to best buy at 9:30 PM and got one of those $380 laptops. I'm gonna sell it on ebay and hopefully make $200+. The line wasnt too bad where i went, but i was on the news for being there in the 20* weather.

went to walmart @ 1am was about 30+ in line. . . 5th person to get laptop

i dont shop on sale days - id much rather pay full price then stand in lines and be in crowded malls!

i did however go shopping on Saturday but just to Nordstrom to get makeup and stuff and it was in the morning and NO ONE was there!

There wasn't any adds that really caught my eye this year. I did go shopping that day, though, but it was at night. I'd rather pay full price than stand in those lines just like blackcelicagt94.

i work at a gym, and one with nothing but spoiled rich people go. So it was completely empty all morning. It was nice, just browsed this site the whole time. easy 6 hrs of pay.
