Where do I get SS-III oem side skirts? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #31225 14 posts Started by trdproven
I already read the body kit guide and jdm part numbers but I was not able to determine where I can get them. Its almost hopeless going through ebay or a junkyard for me. Can anybody please give me a definite and reliable website?

By the way...these are extremely rare which is why we are having doggy reproduce them and they will fit perfectly. If you get other side skirts from companies they rarely fit well.
I'm not sure if I'm right but i believe the OEM SS-III sideskirts are the same as the 96+ OEM skirts.

anyway, if you want 96+ skirts, PM me and I'll get you the partnumbers for everything.

correct. From the sticky

Stock Sideskirts - These were an option on 96-99 Japanese and American Celicas. They will fit any Celica coupe or hatchback without modication. Parts can be ordered from any dealership or often found discounted at a used parts distributor (Thanks to CelicaQT for the following part numbers).

(1) 76911-20900 Mudguard, Side R (This is the skirt itself)
(1) 76912-20900 Mudguard, Side L (This is the skirt itself)
(2) 76925-20020 Protector, Side M (Rubber seal) Make sure you tell them what color. There's a color code they specify when you order it.
(1) 76927-20040 Protector, Side M (Goes between the inside of the skirt and the sheetmetal)
(1) 76928-20040 Protector, Side M (Same as above discription only it's a smaller piece)
These are the fasteners:
(4) 90159-60414 Screw, W/ washer
(8) 90159-60420 Screw, W/ washer
(4) 90189-06006 Grommet, Screw
(8) 90189-06154 Grommet, Screw
(16)90467-09185 Clip
(18)90467-10162 Clip

Yes you are right about the skirts. I guess everyone is thinking that the TRD ones are oem but actually thats not it. The factory skirts of the latter models is the one I'm talking about. Do you know where I can get them, I keep asking about it here but everyone keeps saying ebay and the junkyard. I need a more reliable source. thanks.

Woah, woah.

First of all, there's no such thing as TRD sideskirts.

And I believe the SS-III came with both the stock 96+ OEM sideskirts, as well as the dealer optional, more elaborate ones. (see here: http://home.datacomm.ch/berichte/Prospekte...5_japan/25.jpg)

All 96+ Celicas came with the option of the "dealer options", but the 98+ SS-III had the splitters/extensions and the normal sides stock.

besides the fact they are both for toyota. I still haven't been given a good website for them. I know dealerships could order them but at the same time a lot of dealerships won't. what i'm looking for is a reliable website.

go to toyotaworld.com. they were able to get my parts that even my local dealer couldn't get. they are probably the most reliable online toyota parts retailer..

is this what it is called by toyota? These are the side skirts i found by part number. the description however does not exactly state they are skirts. "Quarter panel - Exterior trim - Rocker molding"

from the sticky:

(1) 76912-20900 Mudguard, Side L (This is the skirt itself)

thats the part number for the actual skirt.

If you put that into Toyota World you will get two results. One from the Collision Catalog (Quarter panel - Exterior trim - Rocker molding) and one from OEM Catalog (MUDGUARD, SIDE, LHorRH) smile.gif >
