so Im thinking of getting tinted windows, you guys think this is tacky, also ive noticed theres the shiny metallic tinting which looks odd vs standard which ones looks better?

They have all sorts of colors for window tinting now. I've seen red, black, and mirror so far. And some dude had an american flag on the back glass of his truck.

I dunno if u can see it well, but i like my tint, its like half way between full blown mirror, and tint. its nice, i get compliments. I dont think its tack, just something u should do afterwards.

The sinny stuff that your talking about is the Mirror'd tint. Then there is the standard black window tint, but like Neipas said they have it in just about any color now. But it depends on what you want to do. Just know that the darker it is the harder it is to see out of it at night. Ive got a black car and Im thinking about having my tint redone and darkened a little or get the mirrored since either would look good on the car.

I have the "mirror" tint, but here we call it "quantium" tint.
I think its like 14 or 17% tint.

I'm looking at getting my back, and back side windows tinted. I was talking with a guy who does it, and he says he can do a design, so I'm thinking i'm going to get hte keltic dragon reverse tinted on the back. its something different.... (Actually I was gunna get a heart with my gf and my name in it, but she dumped me a week and a half ago, so I get to save the money there.)

that is way to dark for your side windows, how can you see at night?

and scooby doo, just my 2 cents, but that would just clutter the look of your car.

I have 15% on all five windows with a type called charkool, it looks really nice on the red car, I get compliments all the time on it. I thought about going with the kind with the metalic layer in it, but since my car has nothing shiny like chrome pieces or anything, I think it looks cleaner with just the dark look.

it also kinda depends on your car color (sorry should've checked your profile)
