Well the meet starts at 11:30am as is... that's pretty early for a weekend so there really isn't a pre-meet meeting spot. Everyone should be at Autobacs at 11:30am.

The meet is in a couple days, I have some questions for you guys.

1. Does anyone have 1-2 mile range walkie talkies or should we just use our cell phones?

2. Are you guys feeling Red Robin or should we hit up a fast food place like In and Out which is on the way to PCH. Usually with 10+ people paying for one tab at a sit down restaurant can be a pain in the a**.

3. I'm thinking about making name tags with people's 6gc screenname, I already have the Avery labels, yay or nay?

4. Someone needs to bring a good digital camcorder to record drive bys of us down PCH and upload it.

I think i have some walkie talkies. At one of the other meets they did come in handy. Ill have to check the batteries tho ill let u know tontie.


In and out sounds find. I feel u on the "paying of the tab" part

Name tags are dorky yet good idea. At another meet i actually went to a office depot that was close to get some. It helped with the embarassing moments.
Just make sure we take them off half way and when we are taking pix lol

I'll most likely bring my Panasonic DVX100 and I have a Final Cut Pro edit bay and and Avid edit bay. I am a professional camera operator/editor so I'd be down to help with this in my freetime.

I thought Red Robin was a good idea cause I'd be able to a have a brew or two, but it has been a while since I've had In & Out. Ok guys, we're gonna meet at Autobacs at 11:30am sharp. We'll try to find an area where we can all park together.

Once most people are there, we'll browse autobacs a little, chat or whatever and then have lunch around 12:30-1:00. The reason I recommended red robins is because it shares the same parking lot. So it's walking distance away.
