ok, i've already searched so dont say search. anywho, I got rims and tires about 6 months ago, went for an alignment, and they said it couldnt be done since our cars dont have the proper stuff for it. Lately my car has been pulling to the right REALLY hard, so I look at my tire and I have metal wire showing. Does anyone have any idea why this is?

You're out of alinment and your tire is wearing funny. They'll do that when they aren't alined. I can take a very short time to completely ruin a tire if the wheels are strate. Oh, never take the Celica back to that shop again. They have no clue what they're talking about saying the Celica can't be aligned. I've had mine aligned twice now. Your tires should have a warinty on them, so you can probably get new ones for free or at least get some of your money back. Get the car to a real alignment shop ASAP. Places that specialize in it and make you wate a week or so for an appointment tend to know a little more than your Goodyear, Minaky, or any other shop that hires mostly young retards.

#1) you can't get a refund on tires because you didn't get an alignment...thats user error and the manufacture of the tire will just call you dumb for asking for a refund

#2) find a new shop obviously they don't know what they are talking about...unless you miss heard them and they said "we don't have the equipment to do one" not "your celica doesn't have the equipment to do one"

find a new shop....get an all wheel alignment done...buy your self some nice new tires

Tires are garintied to wear for so many miles. I know it's silly, but my mom and girlfriend have both gotten money back from their tires because their cars wore them fast due to being out of alingment. Might just be in my area. I know it sounds like you shouldn't be able to do it, but I've seen it done.

I took it to Goodyear, those bastards. I did think it sounded a bit funny tho. And the tires I have are dollar store tires that came with them, so im just gonna invest in some new tires of decent quality and get an alignment this friday. Thanks guys!

Might be, I don't know though. It's easier to find people willing to work with you around here, like getting inspection stickers and what not. That was in Parkersburg though, I don't think that would fly here in Morgantown. Too many jerks around here. No one wants to do anything for anyone.
