I really cant find what I was looking for so yea...
Does anybody know the exact degree bends, or how may that you need for a 5sfte setup??
I know alot of people got there fmic piping from jcwhitney, but I wanted to get one of those kits from ebay since their cheaper, but they come in different degree bends.
I really like the way itchy routed his pipes, but if pressures or shins is best, any info would help.
oohh, and by the way I dont plan on using those cheap couplers that they come with.
mine and vins are a little diffrent, i used 8 90s, 1 45, and one 180.
on vins i think it was 9 90s 2 45s and the 180.

Is the kit from whitneys even enough for all that, or did you buy extra pieces??
there are no kits for our cars. you just buy how many bends you need, some silicone couplers and tbolt clamps. then cut and put it together how you need it to go.

15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
Im not talking about a specific one for our car, Im talking about the universal kits.
manny, u got pics of ur piping VS. Vic's piping?? I kinda wanna c the difference of how it all comes 2gether/what way is easier/cleaner looking.
I would highly suggest checking out Lagos' intercooler piping, it has a very good route. I wasn't able to use the same one on the last swap I did simply because the owner opted to use all 90* bends. Make sure you get some 45s and you'll be set.

The one think I like about my setup better than Lagos' is that I clocked the turbo which eliminates a few bends and lowers the piping length. smile.gif

And I also suggest using 2" piping.

Here's what mine looked like:

That's a 3S. The 5S will be even shorter because of the side-feed manifold.

what size piping is in the pic??
so would the 5s be exactly like that (besides where it connects to the trottle body) or aaahhh.......
Does anybody have that setup, cuz it seems pretty good, and I think I might consider it
That's 2.5" piping but it's a bit too big... we got a good deal on the it wink.gif

Yeah, you could basically run it the same way.

i really dont have many good pics, that would show the diffrence.
basicly, vins is just like arts on the hot side.
mine, i went thru the rad support, behind the fog light, so that i wouldnt loose the mounting point for the fogs.
