Why are we so cool? - 6G Celicas Forums

Wow. I was looking at some Nissan 240 SX forums and some Eclipse forums and some Prelude forums and i soon realized something. On all those forums, every one seems to just hate each other, because they will say something about their cars and then some one else will jump in and totally disagree and say a bunch of condesending remarks about the guy. Then it just goes back and forth. Thats why im glad that im only apart of 6GC and celica tech. Us 6GC memeber and so laided back and we all get along really well. I just thought i would bring that up really quick. Later.

that's true, when I had my Prelude on Honda-tech therer were like 3 friendly guys and i swear everyone else on the board only knew how to type "USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION FAGGOT NOOB"

There was one guy who was pretty cool, a good engine builder and machinist, made his own frankenstein Honda engine, I can't remember exactly but it was like an accord F block with an H22 vtec head and machined h23 internals on an f22 crank and it put out like 260 whp and sounded really badass.

Otherwise none of them were nice, never good about information, etc etc it wasn't a friendly environment like here. I mean yes there's haters here and I know i've said my own impolite things but voicing opinions is also part of a forum family IMO

i am on a nissan site and enjoy it a lot more cuz theres less haters on there than on here! i love this site cuz well its very informational but the nissan site im on is a lot more receptive

Mitsi forums are the worst some of the ones I have been on have been right f**king a***holes and honda forums are really bad as well I have been into a few and they always put down others cars.

its cus sitting in a celica makes us more celestrial and heavenly..... i mean come on look at the quality of guys and girls we have. From built up flex machines to super sexy ladies we got the cream of the crop. Plus not to mention our cars have more curves the most others

This forum has a lot smaller member base, and members become closer. There's a bit of trouble around sometimes when people loose their pacients or jump on to others for their ideas. There's a some good info on here. I like it mostly just for the chatting. I don't have enough cash to be doing projects all the time.

I have learn't some really good info about celicas off this forum. And I will continue to do so as well.

The Supra is A child of the Celica, its all a part of this car, without the Celi it would
have never happened. wink.gif

ive never really gotten on any other forums, but ya this one is definitely welcoming. the credit has to go coomer and the excellent mods.
I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

This site is definitely something to be proud of. We have a site in Moscow dedicated to celicas, but I always get a very nice feeling after going to this site - it's just more friendly and informative and people really do act as a big family. Keep it up smile.gif

Looking at this site compared to others I kindof get the feeling that your car is an object that reflects your personailty.

I think the fact that we are willing to own a rare car attracts people that are more interesting, open-minded, patient, and acceptable. We are nicer, smarter people...we have to understand that modding these cars takes some patience and creativity sometimes, and that requires more listening and respect for each other b/c that is how we will learn to turbo, do a swap, etc. You guys are like virtual friends that I wish I could meet in person. Wait...that national 6gc meet is next year...yeah!
