Well, i always wanted to see a new version, cuz it was kinda fun, cuz when i was kid i saw a old style kong )

What can i say..... be prepared for a long ass movie..... long as boring intro.... But then all this will go, special effects will kill you.... Damn, action in this one is purly amazing, Kong itself is awesome...

Ending Sucks... Some scenes are awfull... but in the total - 8 out of 10 for it.

I thought the movie was a incredible! on a scale of 1-10 i give it a 40. Yeah, it was long but I didnt think it was boring, or too long. It was filled with story lines and plots and stuff. Special effects and the actions scenes are some of the best I've ever seen EVER! This movie beats the crap out of Titanic with a Louisville Slugger. I'm probably gonna see it again, and I will def be buying the DVD when it comes out in like 3 years. (cuz it will be in theaters forever)

the first 30 minutes sucked... the middle kicked ass and i will never touch another bug in my life... and then the ending blew

i like when he kicked the living daylights out of the t-rex and ripped his jaw off. that was pretty cool

I thought the movie was pretty good. It was very easy to forget the slow begining after the action started. It's not really slow, but it is slow. The ending is nice, but felt a little off considering the midset of Kong. By the way, Kong is one ugly ape. Special effects were great. I will actually have nightmares from this movie, stupid bugs. Some of the best computer assisted graphics I've ever seen. I'll have to see it again to see how I really feel about it. I'll give it a 3 to 3 1/2 out of 4 stars. Very nice movie, definately going to win at least one oschar.

The beginning is obviously the setup, giving you the chance to get to know the characters. I'm HUGE into movies, and I like all kinds. I think that the people who JUST watched it to see a big monkey kick some ass didn't like it very much because there is a pretty deep story behind it, if you think about it.

But that's just my $.02 =o)

Remakes suck and CGI special effects suck. Watch the original King Kong for a good movie.

I was listening to the radio a few days ago and they had this "bigfoot hunter" on talking about his documentary that is came out around Kong. He said that he believes animals the size of King Kong were once around, but we killed them for meat and fur.. I thought....CRAZY

The first 1 hour of the movie was like a complete waste of my life. I want that 1 HR back!

No, I just don't like remakes and CGI special effects in any movie. They take old movies, and they're like "We can make it better because now we have computers to make it look more real." I personally don't care if it looks "more real" because you know going in its fake anyway. CGI graphics are so easy to spot, they look so fake to me. They remind me too much of video games. I don't like seeing that in the movies. I'd rather see a guy in a gorilla costume and a good story.

Gives you a background on all the characters. Sets up the plot. Makes the movie a movie, instead of just all action scenes.
