you cant blame the yankees for wanting a primier center fielder, slim pickings in center. if only the yankees let randy johnson, damon, and giambi to grow their hair again.
i see this as a slap in the face for all bosox fans, i never could have imagined damon playin for them. sad day for me. i think this shows how now baseball is about money now, not the love for sport it self.

The Yankees have been doing this since the organization began. Babe Ruth, Wade Boggs, Roger Clemens were all former redsox. Boston stupidly gets rid of their good players and the yankees recognize that and pick them up. Its now time for Damon to win a world series with the yankeees, just like the Babe, wade boggs and Clemens did. Face it, any player no matter what team they're on wants to play for the Yankees.
