best tool ive found to get the tranny seals out is a "t-bar" seal remover,
its basicly a handle with hook shaped things on the end of it, it almost looks like a T. i got mine at the local autozone.

yea i have the tool but there seems to be a metal plate in front of the seal and its diameter is alot smaller than the seal's. should i try to pry that piece out?
Use the seal puller to pry the seal out. Dont worry about anything else.
Clean the hole before installing the new seal.

I will return one day.
the driver and pass. are basically the same. There is no metal on the seal. Just take a good flat screwdriver and start working ur way around the seal. Shove the screwdriver into the hole and slowly pry it out. Don't worry cause the whole thing is part metal and hard plastic.

youre exactly right, the aftermarket seal is all plastic so i was confused but now i know that the factory ones are part metal. thanks for the help everyone.
