i think it's kinda an inside joke.... probly started out in online gaming like everything else like n00b and stuff of that sort. My bro started me doing it... cuz on messenger he's always like this is teh ghey, so it just kind of stuck to meh

(im translating into english so u can understand what im saying, lol ) the whole leet speak came from the game counter-strike basically... counter-strike is one of the longest running games and is a add-on to Half-life... i think i started playing CS back when i was 10... i dunno. after many updates of CS from beta (yah i played beta too.) to the current CS:S. i still remember the day when 1.5 rolled out and totally changed the way CS works with the aiming.
